Bruno Mars just made a major donation to the Flint water crisis!
During his 24K Magic World Tour show in Auburn Hills, Michigan, the 31-year-old entertainer announced that he will be donating $1 million from the night’s concert to provide aid to the victims of the Flint water crisis.
“I’m very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause,” Bruno said in a during the show. “Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it’s important that we don’t forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again.”
Bruno and his tour promoter Live Nation, redirected funds from his show to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint – an organization whose main focus is helping those affected by the water crisis.
