View Full Version : Any luck returning Peeling Z-72 to BestBuy?

I was wondering if anyone has replaced their peeling paint Zire 72 under a Best Buy performance plan and whether or not they had any problems doing so? Best Buy policies have been a little flakey lately and besides the problem is with the finish not with the performance of the device itself. However it is an acknowledged problem PalmOne is willing to deal with if mailed off, I just would rather exchange it at Best Buy so I don't have to be without my precious more than a few hours instead of a few days.

I posted on the forum you suggested, and I plan on waiting to see how the new shells hold up once other people start getting theirs fixed. As for Best Buy, I can't really say anything nice so I won't say anything ;) because they now send PDA's off to the manufacturer for repairs and generally have at least a two week turnaround :mad: I guess I will use my BB extended service plan only after my one year with PalmOne is up or if Best Buy ever decides to put customers first again.
