M500/505 pinouts same as Zire 71?

I was looking in RadioShack today and saw some m500/505 charge/sync cables for $3. They had the same number of pins as th Zire 71 charger did. In fact, they looked identical. Of course, this could be where any similarities end. Does anyone know if the pinouts for the Zire 71 is the same as for the 500/505?

Actually, they both have a so-called Universal Connector. Every Palm that has an Universal Connector can use all universal connector hardware. If the OS requires a driver however, do not buy before chiecking for a OS5 driver.
However, a charging cradle/cable does not need any drivers-so just get it and enjoy...
