Can't synch using Virtual PC

Hi,
I've looked all over the net, and cannot find an answer to my problem. I cannot get my Zire 72 to hotsync with my Virtual PC. I get Error -1 instead, even though the software installed correctly. I'm using the Virtual PC (Windows XP) instead of going straight through my Mac because I want to install the GPS system that came with my new PDA. It's not Mac Compatible. How do I get that hotsync to work? I have the Virtual PC installed on my dual drive G5 Mac.

This is probably something the guys over in the "Mac/Linux" forum know more about, try posting in there because it sounds more like a general Mac hotsync problem rather than a Zire specific one.
