I bought a Palmone Zire on Ebay. The auction did not include the USB cable.
I was going to buy a USB cable for it. The ones that I found on the internet look like the USB cable that I use for my Dell DJ MP3 Player.
I was wondering if I could just use the same cable with both devices?

Yes, it is a standard USB cable. You can use one like this:

I'm not trying to argue with you but I posted this same topic on another forum.
And someone replied back and said that even though the connectors are the same the wiring in the cables are different.
So should I just buy a cable for that says it is for the Palmone Zire just to be safe?

I'm using the same cable I provided a link to since I purchased my Tungsten E and I have had no problems using it. As far as I can tell, there is no difference between the cable that palmOne shipped with the device and the one I purchased from CyberGuys except for the length. If there is some incompatability, I am not aware of it nor have I expereiced any ill effects.
