| You can also consider Picsel Proviewer, which is available on the Picsel website. It has the option of loading page by page, which ets you open even 300 pages pdf files. Only problem though, you can't jump to a page by specifying page number. But that should be corrected in the next version.
But it is not a web browser, unfortunately, which is why I also keep Picsel Browser handy.
Palm pdf has some nice options too, such as turning a pdf file into a doc file. It's something I like to use. But you will need udmh to view pdfs though. |

| MaxX is a system extension, not an app - it won't show up in UDMH. The only way you'll know it's installed is if Picsel and Netfront work properly (or you do the drag across the top of the screen in landscape mode).
It sounds like you need to free up space in your DB cache; you can do this using UnCache, or the free memory fix Dmitry wrote for TXes. You can also do it by uninstalling software that eats up DB cache, or installing it on SD instead of internally.

I have Picsel Browser, complete with Maxx and Code Diver, and also have registered UDMH.
I have the same problem as johsonvg mentions.
J have (had - my Palm is currently stuck in the calibration wizard) about 60Mb free in RAM.
I select Picsel Browser in UDMH, and choose, say, 6000Kb (~6 Mb) for it. It can now open some PDF files, but not completely: the memory message appears, and after a certain point, the pages appear blank.
So I increase the amount of RAM for Picsel Browser in UDMH. Say 7000Kb (~7Mb). ANd now Picsel Browser won`t even run. A message in garbage text appears, and resets (usually) after I select either option (unreadable, but probably Yes or No).
So, even with UDMH I can`t have Picsel Browser open some PDF files. I can in Palm PDF though (which shows LOTS of free RAM once selected in UDMH). But Picsel Browser is so much better sometimes than PalmPDF, specially the browsing and zooming and panning and page selecting.
I tried UnCache once, but the n-day trial period expired in ~(n/10) days, for some reason (as others have reported, I found), so I didn`t go very far. But as far as I remember, it didn't make a difference. But, as I said, I didn't have time to fiddle around.
I had lots of free RAM, but I tend to leave apps in RAM, and not on the card, since RAM is faster than reading from the card. Specially key apps. But the databases, those I tend to leave on the card. So I don't think, at least in my case, that moving more apps to the card would have made a difference.
I'll check on that later on this week.
