| Zire 72 = Good Video Player? Is the Zire 72 a good video player? Can it handle handle playing movies (full length movies that is).
I am pressed down on two options. A T5, or a Zire72 with Keyboard, SD card and Bluetooth Adapter for my PC.
My concerns
-the 300mhz processor will not handle 24FPS, 320x(w/ethisfigureis), Xvid movies on MMplayer.
-Low Batt. Life?????
Please Zire72 users, give me ur comments. |

...there is always possible to use Lightspeed to get better battery life! What is over/under-clocker software, you can find it from here http://www.clievideo.com/default.asp?item=5 !
....or you can use pxaclocker which has also those options, you can find it from here http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?f...=1&prodID=51172 ! |

| I think the battery life is ok. But I do not want to lower my CPU power to watch a movie which will consequently have dropped frames, and possible loss of audio video sync due to the lowered cpu power.
Anways, any Zire72 users can confirm that they watch full length movies wihout having dropped frames or switching to a 3rd part battery? |

| I have!!! I don't have a problem at all with it. I just don't go over 320x270 and make sure that the bps doesn't go past 300. All in all, it's all good... Sure it kills your battery, but your left with about 35%.

| No Problem!!! Your Welcome!
P.S. I don't even use an overclocking app, and I don't have any frames dropped or audio/video sync problems. You have to remember that the Zire 72's processor is pretty fast!
