More than 200 million eggs sold in nine US states are being recalled over salmonella fears. Rose Acre Farms, based in Seymour, Indiana, issued a voluntary recall of the 206,749,248 eggs because of possible contamination. At least 22 illnesses have been reported so far, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The eggs reached consumers in Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. They were sold in various stores and restaurants, including Food Lion and Walmart.
