Draymond Green is pleased that his NBA side the Golden State Warriors have teamed up with Rakuten ahead of the new season.

Golden State have sold the space on its jersey for the next three years to the Japanese tech company in a deal worth a reported 20 million dollars per year.

After unveiling their new jersey for the upcoming campaign, Green said it's about time NBA sides got sponsors on their shirts as it helps 'grow the game globally'.

Meanwhile, Andre Iguodola is looking forward to having Rakuten on his jersey, describing it as a badge of honour.

The 33-year-old also joked that he's formed a great partnership with the Warriors.
